    In this series, we're proud to bring you a blended learning experience designed for those who have a responsibility to uphold the requirements of The Building Safety Act 2022.

  • Content

    The Building Safety Act 2022 represents the biggest overhaul of building and fire safety regulation in a generation. As you may have experienced, deciphering legislation and understanding what it means for you, can be challenging.

  • Delivery

    The series will be delivered via video, self-guided E-Learning, and a culminating instructor-led session. The series is organized in 5 parts. As you go through you will be required to complete activities and knowledge checks to help reinforce your understanding of the material.

    Following this introductory module you'll be able to define the key components of the Building Safety Act 22 that relate to the management of building safety risks.

  • UNDERSTANDING BUILDING SAFETY RISK

    Understand your role in managing building safety and explain how organisations use their knowledge of building safety risk to inform strategic decision-making.

  • BUILDING SAFETY BEYOND COMPLIANCE

    Describe the concept of safety beyond regulatory compliance. You will develop an understanding of how to foster a safety culture that goes beyond minimum legal requirements.

  • THE RISK MANAGEMENT CYCLE

    Gain an overview of the cyclical process of identifying, assessing, controlling, recording, and reviewing risks. Participants will learn practical strategies for implementing each step of the cycle.

  • BUILDING SAFETY IN PRACTICE

    In this culminating session, apply what you’ve learned throughout the series. Participants are encouraged to practise and problem-solve with their peers through instructor-led discussions.
